I chuckle at two of the black pups who are play fighting, and I think to myself "one day those two will be great fighters or hunters, maybe even both."

i flick my ears towards a sound and scent a mouse i look for it when i find it i jump on it and bite it on the neck and bring it back.

I watch all of my pups attack and play. I sigh then whisper to Accalia, "I'm so glad we had pups" and then wrestle with Fury and Midnight as they tug my ear.

I laugh at the pups climbing all over Seraek, I stop laughing when my stomach randomly growl. I get up and stretch, yawning I walk towards the pond storage room chamber. I sniff around for one of the hidden pieces and dig once I pick up the scent. This time I found a large white tailed deer neck, I pick it up in my mouth and carry it to the Alpha chamber. I lay back down inside and curl around the pups and Aaron.

i greet mum by jumping on her. My muddy paws smear on her white pelt and I wag my tail.

All I see is a flash of black and... brown then I have a pup on my head and a piece of meat in my mouth. I laugh and shake the pup off revealing brown paw prints on my silver fur so i shake off and quickly groom. I drop the meat and eat half of it and let the pups and/or Seraek have the rest if they want it.

As soon as mum drops the food, I was on it. I pretended it was alive, an pounced on it. I then wolfed most of the meat down.

I wake up from sleeping i start feeling sick and weak. '' Why am i hurting.'' i wonder. ''What's wrong with me?''

"Must be hungry" I say, and then say: "you should eat" I then wolf down another huge chunk of deer.

I go out of the den, and Hoped to go to the top of the mountain, and the whole pack can howl together. Tonight was the Howler Moon, and I beckoned my kids, and my mate to follow.

We arrive at the peak, and as the tradition goes, I go first. Then Accalia, then Fury, Midnight, Raven,and the rest join in. I howl beautifully, and I then raise higher and higher, as the spirits rise within me. I can feel Helios' presence near. I howl as loud as I can.

The Spirits are Alive and close tonight.

My howl is distinct for it's echos and tone, It may not be the loudest but very different. The whole pack howls ring through the land. My ears pull back as i howl, my howl gets louder as the night goes on.

my howl was the deepest, and very coarse. It was very Harmonic, and after we howled, we were supposed to hunt 5 elder deer, each deer counting 50 of when the pack was born.

Aumar said back to the Beta, "Thank you." She gently walked around and realized new pups were about. She carefully lied down and relaxed her cranium upon her stiff paws. The blank expression on her face hid everything she thought from her past. Aumar never wanted to be living. If she had the choice, she wouldn't have been born. But sadly she was. She then realized: she wasn't the problem. Her mistakes have been taught to her by her brother. That horrid creature who lead her to live life as she did. Full in misery and drowing in hatred. Her blood boiled from these thoughts. She has never seen her brother since her youth pack abandoned her. Maybe she could go find him to settle the long, dark past that gripped into her mind like a parasite. And Aumar no longer wanted to be the host. How would she leave this pack for just a while to find her brother? She didn't know. Maybe someday they would cross paths.

The Howling was over. All of us went back to our dens, and went to sleep...

I lay my head down and curl my tail around the sleeping pups. It is hours before the pack gets up from their slumber and I as the first one to be awake. I look around and a warm smile comes to my face as I see Seraek and the pups sleeping. I get up and stretch, my mouth opens with a big but silent yawn. I start to walk out of the den leaving the still sleeping pack in peace and head towards something in the trees.

I arrive at the den, and I am first greeted by the 1 year old fury,who then wrestles me as I get to the den. My eyes come across my Mates silver.fur, and then her bulging stomach. I lick her muzzle and ask "The pups alright?" almost cheerfully.

"Their fine, don't worry" I bark smiling remembering only a year ago when Fury and Midnight were born, I ignore the thoughts of the other pups who left. "Remember you still have to teach Midnight and Fury to fight and hunt" I say as I sit down carefully. I also wanted to teach both the newborns and the yearlings how to fend for themselves if that time comes but I wont be able to hunt an fight as much because I'll have young ones to tend to so as I did with Fury and Midnight.

I nod my head. A tawny scout runs to me, with a worried look on his face. "What is it " I ask, concerned too. "Invadors" he says, out of breath. I don't have to hear anymore. I let out a loud howl, and order everyone to be ready for battle.

"Wh-who is it?" I bark with a erie tone, "whos invading?!?!" I add even more concerned.

I look at her "the Pack isn't really a pack, these are bachelor's, looking and invading territories, then forcing females to have pups with them. They will kill all the males and pups, and keep the females".

I just growl loudly in reply but with a little whimper of worry hidden. I want to fight and protect the pack but I can't, I mumble to myself "why did the rouges have to come at this time". I shake my head trying to shake the thoughts.
